The SDG Open Hack is an atypical 24-hour hackathon that brings students together to tackle real-world sustainability challenges through innovation, collaboration, and action. Organised by GGEF, a purpose-driven social enterprise headquartered in Singapore since 2013, the hackathon is part of its broader mission to promote sustainability, leadership, and youth-driven impact through events, awards, and innovation programmes. In partnership with UNITAR, the University of Geneva, OpenAI, Sparkboard, CodeTogether.AI, tertiary institutions, universities, and corporate partners in Singapore, students will choose challenge topics based on their interests, form interdisciplinary teams, and develop practical solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
